A minimalist brushstroke wall art print of thick cream strokes crossing over raw greige linen, their ridges catching the light like whipped plaster.
About the artwork
Six or seven wide strokes overlap in a loose cluster that covers about three quarters of the sheet, running mostly from upper left to lower right. One long stroke cuts against them, rising from the bottom left toward the top center, so the group reads like a single written character. Each stroke shows combed bristle lines and ragged ends where the paint thinned. Between them the linen ground stays bare, its woven thread visible, and it runs out to every edge.
Why you'll love it
- Light on light. Cream on linen is soft enough for any wall.
- The look of heavy paint. Deep ridged strokes without a raised surface.
- Calligraphy feel. A single bold gesture that is easy to live with.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Ideal for a Japandi bedroom or a calm living room with boucle, jute and pale oak. A natural or white frame keeps it tonal; espresso gives it an edge. Hang it beside the black calligraphy-stroke design in this range for a light and dark pair.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is the paint actually thick? No. The impasto ridges and the linen weave are part of the printed image, and the print itself is smooth.
Is it white on white? It is cream strokes on a warm greige linen ground, so the contrast is soft but clear.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.

Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.

- Reads slightly softer than canvas.

Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.

- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
