A kitchen wall art print: nine kitchen utensils laid out like specimens in one red ink on blush pink, under the title COOKING SCHOOL.
About the artwork
Nothing overlaps. The nine tools are spaced into three loose groups so each one can be read on its own, the way a museum board arranges its objects. A single vermilion ink does everything: even outlines throughout, parallel wavy strokes for the grain on the rolling pin handle, and a dense diagonal mesh for the sieve. The tools are a rolling pin, a ladle, a turner, a fork, a wooden spoon, a whisk, a mesh sieve, a knife, and a set of five measuring spoons fanned open at the lower left. The four-tier gallery layout and white border frame the whole board.
Why you'll love it
- Ordered, not styled. Nine objects, evenly spaced, nothing hidden.
- One ink on pink. Warm, and very easy to place.
- Kitchen subject, gallery treatment. No slogan anywhere.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Specimen layouts look best hung square and alone, at a size where each tool is clearly legible — 18 x 24 and up. It suits the wall above a worktop, a pantry door, or a kitchen with open shelving. It also pairs with the Dinner Party fish platters print, which uses the same layout in cobalt.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
How many utensils are shown? Nine, including a five-piece set of measuring spoons.
What is the title? COOKING SCHOOL, with small gallery captions above and below.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.
Production & shipping
Nothing is printed until you order, so each piece is made for you.
- Printed and finished in 3–5 business days.
- Delivery a further 4–8 business days — about 7–13 days in total.
- Free shipping across the United States. Everywhere else is a flat $5 per order.
Paper prints ship rolled in a rigid tube. Canvas and framed canvas are boxed with corner guards.
Damage, defects & care
Every piece is printed for you after you order, so we cannot take a print back for a change of mind — please check the size and material first. Our Size Guide shows every size drawn to scale.
If it arrives damaged, misprinted or simply wrong, email us within 14 days with photos of the piece and the packaging. We reprint and reship it free, and there is nothing to send back.
Keep artwork out of direct sunlight. Wipe framed canvas with a dry, soft cloth. Handle paper prints by the edges until they are framed.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
