This Italian kitchen wall art print spells CIAO in tall blush pink letters across a rosy red ground, with BELLA in cream along the bottom.
About the artwork
It is a flat vector design made only of type. CIAO is set in an ultra-condensed, very tall sans serif, and BELLA in a stylised serif with a 70s flavour. The palette is a warm red-pink ground with powder pink and cream lettering, framed by a white border. CIAO fills roughly the top two thirds, its four letters running edge to edge, while BELLA sits on one line in the lower fifth.
Why you'll love it
- A peaked A. The A in CIAO rises to a sharp point that touches the top edge.
- A little hook. The A in BELLA ends in a small hooked stroke at its right foot.
- Two warm words. A friendly Italian greeting and nothing else, so it stays clean on a busy wall.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Hang it by the doorway into the kitchen or dining room so the greeting is the first thing guests see. Pink and red sit happily with cream cabinets, terracotta and brass; a white frame keeps it light, while gold leans into the retro mood. It would also suit a trattoria or pizzeria wall.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What does it say? CIAO / BELLA.
What kind of lettering is used? CIAO is in tall, ultra-narrow sans serif capitals and BELLA in a stylised 70s-style serif.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.
Paper weight, inks, frame details and care are all in our Material Guide.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
