A chrome racing helmet poster in extreme black and white: a photo of a mirror-finish helmet whose shell reflects race cars and a crowd.
About the artwork
The helmet is tilted on a diagonal and fills the whole frame, cropped at the right corner. Its curved surface bends the reflection, so the cars and spectators wrap around the shell like a fisheye view. The contrast is pushed hard, turning the chrome into pure blacks, whites and a few silver tones. A dark block in the right corner balances the bright white ground. Some cropped racing sponsor decals sit on the shell, but the reflection is the real subject.
Why you'll love it
- A bold piece for car lovers. Racing spirit in a refined black and white form.
- Something new each look. The tiny reflected scene rewards a closer view.
- Strong on its own. One large shape fills the wall without needing a set.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Place it in a garage den, a home office or above a sleek black console. A black frame suits the dark corner, while a white frame lets the bright background breathe. It goes well with the overhead race cars photo and the top-down race car shot.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Does it show any logos? There are cropped racing sponsor decals and a small logo on the shell, and we do not name them.
Is the background white? Mostly white, with a black area in the right corner.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
