A kitchen wall art print with one object on it: a deep red chilli curling from the top right down into a hooked tail at the bottom left.
About the artwork
The chilli is a flat colour field with a speckled grain laid over it, the kind of texture a screenprint leaves, and small white dots are scattered down the body to stand in for highlights. There is no outline anywhere. The green stem is painted on top of the red rather than joined to it, and it bends through a sharp right angle at the crown. The tip curls all the way round into a near-closed loop in the bottom left corner. The handwriting sits in the top third on the left, three lines of thin black script with a few sparkle marks and dashes around it.
Why you'll love it
- One long curve. The pepper runs the height of the sheet and loops at the tip.
- Screenprint grain. Flat colour with a speckle laid over it, no outlines.
- Handwritten, not typeset. Thin black script with sparkles and dashes.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Red and green on cream is a kitchen palette without being a Christmas one. Hang it near a spice shelf or a hob, or pair it with the tomato print from the same hand — they share the grain and the handwriting. Natural oak keeps it warm; white frames make the red sharper.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What does it say? “chilli pepper!” and “It's getting hot in here”, in handwritten script.
How is the texture made? Flat colour with a fine speckled grain over it, imitating screenprint.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Keep artwork out of direct sunlight. Wipe framed canvas with a dry, soft cloth. Handle paper prints by the edges until they are framed.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
