This Chicago flower market wall art print stacks a teal skyline above a dense, sunny meadow. It's a stylized, imaginative take on Chicago, an artistic interpretation inspired by the city rather than a literal view of its streets.
About the artwork
A digital watercolor-style illustration with a gouache feel: flat, opaque color blocks and visible brushstrokes. Teal high-rises stand at upper left, cream houses with red-tile roofs sit to the right, and leafy branches frame the top corner. Daisies and white, yellow and orange blooms fill the lower two-thirds under a flat cream sky. "FLOWER MARKET" runs across the top in teal, with "Chicago" handwritten below in golden orange.
Why you'll love it
- Bold, flat color. Opaque teal and orange read clearly from across the room.
- City meets meadow. A modern skyline and a wildflower bed share one tidy frame.
- Modern poster look. Clean shapes and a calm cream sky keep it fresh, not fussy.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Hang it in a living room or entry hall with teal, mustard or warm white accents. It makes a thoughtful gift for anyone who has called Chicago home, or for a housewarming.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Chicago? No. It's an artistic interpretation: teal towers, cream red-roofed houses and a field of flowers arranged into a dreamlike scene, not a map-accurate view.
What text is printed on it? "FLOWER MARKET" across the top, "CITIES & FLOWERS COLLECTION", "NO.006" and "Chicago" in handwritten script.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
