A neutral abstract wall art print of ivory painted blocks stacked like a totem on a deep charcoal ground.
About the artwork
The top row holds two rounded squares with a narrow upright bar between them. Beneath sits one long horizontal bar, and below that a large open square outline with a dark centre that reads a little like a mouth. Together the shapes form a mask-like column taking up about sixty percent of the width. Every edge is rough from a dry brush, and several fine white hairline cracks run vertically through both the blocks and the dark background, which has a faint blue-black cast.
Why you'll love it
- Bold but neutral. Ivory on charcoal with no other colour.
- Sculptural feel. The stacked blocks read like a carved object.
- Strong in a modern room. Pairs with black metal, concrete and oak.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Place it where you want a dark focal point: above a light oak console, in a white hallway or behind a desk. A black frame melts into the ground; natural oak adds warmth. It pairs well with the bold black outline pebble shape on white for a light-and-dark duo.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is it a face? It is abstract; the stacked shapes can suggest a mask, but no face is drawn.
Is the background black? A deep charcoal with a slight blue-black tone and soft brush marks.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
