This Brooklyn Bridge watercolor print shows the bridge's stone tower and web of cables from the snowy pedestrian promenade in New York City, looking west toward Manhattan. It is a watercolor-style interpretation of the walk, not an exact view.
About the artwork
Fine ink lines draw each wooden plank, the lattice iron railings and the fan of steel cables, and snow is left as bare white paper along the boardwalk edges and handrails. The palette is granite gray, weathered wood brown and slate blue, with rusty accents in the washes and a small American flag on top of the tower. The tower's twin pointed Gothic arches stand at the center, and the snow-dusted boardwalk runs straight toward them between old lampposts in strong one-point perspective. The Lower Manhattan skyline with One World Trade Center shows on either side and through the arches, with glimpses of the East River. It is midwinter after a light snowfall, and the edges fade into gray-blue and rust washes, splatter and a white border. "NEW YORK" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it
- Walker's point of view. The scene puts you on the raised wooden promenade, with the path leading straight into the arches.
- Fresh winter snow. A light dusting of snow covers the planks and railings, and walkers wear heavy coats and a red scarf.
- Web of cables. Main cables and diagonal stays fan out from the tower top in detailed ink lines.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
The muted grays, browns and blues fit a modern living room, a study or a bedroom with charcoal, white or wood tones. It is a fitting gift for someone who walked the bridge on a winter trip, or for a Brooklynite who crosses it every day. Pair it with our New York City watercolor print for a two-piece set.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Brooklyn Bridge? No. It is an artistic interpretation from the promenade, and some details of the bridge are simplified.
What text is printed on it? Only the city name, "NEW YORK," set in spaced navy capitals across the top. There is no other lettering on the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.
Paper weight, inks, frame details and care are all in our Material Guide.

Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.

- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
