This Brevard, North Carolina watercolor print shows the red-brick Transylvania County Courthouse and its square clock tower at the head of Main Street. It is an artistic, watercolor-style interpretation of downtown Brevard, not an exact view.
About the artwork
Warm washes build the brick courthouse, with fine ink around the arched windows, the clock face and the small cupola, and the leaves are dabbed in gold and orange. Brick red, amber leaves and blue mountain ridges lead the palette, with a white church steeple and white squirrels as accents. From the corner of Main and Broad, the courthouse stands at the middle left, awning-covered brick shops run off into the distance on the right, and the blue ridges of Pisgah National Forest rise behind. A sloping lawn and a brick sidewalk with flower planters fill the foreground in early autumn. "BREVARD" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it
- White squirrels. A white squirrel sits up on the lawn, with a smaller one behind.
- Mountain bikers. Two riders head down Main Street toward the forest.
- Clock tower detail. Arched windows and the clock face are traced in fine ink.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.

Styling it at home

Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.
