This Boston flower market wall art print pairs a columned dome and brick rooftops with golden blooms and purple flower clusters. It is a stylized, imaginative take on Boston, an artistic interpretation inspired by the city, not a literal view.
About the artwork
It is a digital illustration in a bright watercolor style, with soft washes, paper grain and translucent layers. Golden orange, purple and white sit against blue and leafy green under a pale blue sky. A domed tower with round columns stands on the left, with brick buildings and a rooftop water tank across the top third and a green tree to the right. The rest is golden daisy-like blooms and purple and white clusters. "FLOWER MARKET" sits across the top in teal, with "Boston" handwritten below in golden orange.
Why you'll love it
- Fresh and bright. Golden yellow against purple gives it lively contrast.
- Rooftop details. Brick buildings and a water tank add a city touch.
- Light watercolor. Soft, airy washes keep it easy to live with.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Hang it in a kitchen, breakfast nook or bright hallway with white cabinets and navy or sage accents. A thoughtful gift for a Boston grad, a new Bostonian or a homesick New Englander.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Boston? No. It is an artistic interpretation: a domed tower, brick buildings and flowers arranged into a poster scene, not an exact view of Boston.
What text is printed on it? The top reads "FLOWER MARKET." Below the scene you'll see "CITIES & FLOWERS COLLECTION" and "NO.077," with "Boston" written in handwritten script at the bottom.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.
Paper weight, inks, frame details and care are all in our Material Guide.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
