A minimalist line art wall art print of a serene face drawn in one continuous black line, eyes closed, with sprigs of solid black leaves resting across the brow.
About the artwork
The face fills most of the sheet, its outline running from one temple around the chin and up the other side. Closed eyes are two gentle curves, and a single line traces the nose before the full lips below. Instead of hair, a sprig of leaves lies across the top of the head, and a second sprig curls up the right side past the outer corner of the right eye. The face is outline only, while the leaves are filled in solid black, so they stand out as the boldest part of the drawing. The background is a plain pale blush-cream.
Why you'll love it
- Peaceful expression. Closed eyes give it a restful mood.
- Line meets leaf. Solid leaves add weight to the fine face.
- Great for a bedroom. Soft, calm and personal.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
The calm, sleeping face suits a bedroom, a bathroom or a quiet reading corner. Pair it with green plants, linen bedding and a woven basket to echo the leaves. A black frame matches the ink; natural wood adds warmth. Hang it beside the La Femme line-art figure for a matched pair of drawings.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is there any text on it? No — just the face and leaves.
Is it a man or a woman? The face is drawn with soft features and full lips; it reads as feminine but is intentionally minimal.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
