This Biscayne National Park watercolor print shows the Boca Chita Key lighthouse standing among palms above clear turquoise water in Florida. It is an artistic, watercolor-style interpretation of the island, not an exact view.
About the artwork
Fine ink outlines the coral stone of the tower and the little chapel, and clear turquoise layers reveal sand and seagrass underneath. Turquoise and shallow-water blue lead the palette, with cream coral stone and palm green, plus red-orange accents from a kayak and the chapel roof. The cream lighthouse stands at left among coconut palms, seen from the shallows just off the harbor entrance. A small coral-stone chapel, a stone seawall and a dock with motorboats and sailboats sit in the middle ground, and calm Biscayne Bay with low mangrove keys stretches behind. The bottom edge carries long turquoise and violet drips. "BISCAYNE" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it
- Island lighthouse. The coral-stone tower is the clear focal point, framed by palms and open sky.
- Pelican and kayaker. A brown pelican on a piling and a paddler in a red kayak add life to the harbor.
- Clear water layers. See-through washes over sand and seagrass capture a calm winter day on the bay.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Turquoise, cream and palm green fit a beach-house living room, a guest bedroom, or a bright bathroom. It is a nice gift for a boater, a snorkeler, or anyone who spent a winter weekend out on the bay.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Biscayne National Park? No. It is an artistic interpretation of Boca Chita Key; the harbor and the tower's stonework are simplified, and the boats are shown along a wooden dock.
What text is printed on it? Only the name "BISCAYNE," set in spaced navy capitals across the top. There is no other lettering on the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.

- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
