This Belgrade watercolor print shows the great green-domed Church of Saint Sava at center, with the smaller old Church of Saint Sava on the left and the fountains of the Svetosavski Plateau in front. It is an artistic, watercolor-style interpretation of Belgrade, not an exact view of the city.
About the artwork
Fine ink lines draw the arches, arched windows and gold crosses of the church. The copper domes are washed in veined verdigris green, and early-autumn trees are layered dots of yellow and green. The palette centers on white marble and patina green, with golden linden leaves, gold crosses and orange-red flower beds as accents. A long fountain pool and a straight stone path lead the eye to the church, with cream buildings on the right. Behind, city rooftops give way to Avala hill and its TV tower. "BELGRADE" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it
- Fountain jets. Water jets in the long pool are left as bright white paper.
- Park life. An older couple rests on a bench while children feed pigeons.
- Gold and verdigris. Autumn gold and copper green give the print a calm, stately look.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
White, green and gold suit a formal living room, dining room or office with brass or wood accents. It is a fine gift for someone from Belgrade or a friend who has watched the fountains on the plateau.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Belgrade? No. It is an artistic interpretation of Belgrade's Saint Sava area, and the park and skyline are arranged to fit the composition.
What text is printed on it? Only the city name, "BELGRADE," set in spaced navy capitals across the top. There is no other lettering on the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
