Minimalist Wall Art

What's in the collection

Prints reduced to the fewest marks that still carry the subject. Large areas are left empty on purpose, the palette rarely runs past two or three tones, and any line that is not doing work has been taken out. What remains is shape, proportion and the space around them. The same reduction, done in heavy outline, sits in the vintage WPA wall art, and a softer version of it in the watercolor wall art.

One house style

Restraint is what makes these easy to live with. They give the eye somewhere to rest in a room that is already busy, and they hold their own in a room that is nearly bare. Hang one with generous margin around it, because crowding a minimalist print undoes the point of it. The subjects come from across the travel wall art range, the US national parks wall art most of all, and the wall art size guide lists what each format measures.

Sizes, paper and framing

Every design is offered on archival matte paper in nine sizes from 8" x 12" to 30" x 40", plus A4-A1 for European frames, and on matte canvas either stretched on a wooden bar or set in a solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. Printed with pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
