Food and Drink Wall Art

What's in the collection

The collection gathers everything that happens around a table. Mornings are covered by coffee wall art and the buttery pastries of the bakery wall art prints, while evenings belong to wine wall art and the shaken drinks of the cocktail wall art group. In between sit tomato vines from Naples, plates of pasta on checked cloth, tinned sardines, market eggs, lemons and strawberries, and hand-lettered sayings that belong on a kitchen wall.

One house style

Three treatments run through the whole collection. Bold retro typography carries the loud pieces, where a single word fills the sheet in saturated red, pink or green. Loose single-line drawing handles the quieter ones, a moka pot or a cheese board sketched in one continuous stroke of ink. A smaller vintage strand borrows the look of old pantry labels and matchboxes. Because the palette and paper stay the same across all three, prints from different corners of the collection still hang together as a set, which makes this an easy source for kitchen wall art and for a dining wall built up over time.

Sizes, paper and framing

Every design is offered on archival matte paper in nine sizes from 8" x 12" to 30" x 40", plus A4-A1 for European frames, and on matte canvas either stretched on a wooden bar or set in a solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. Printed with pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.

Questions about food and drink wall art

What counts as food and drink wall art?

Anything whose subject is something you eat, drink or cook with. Here that covers coffee and tea, wine and cocktails, Italian dishes, bakery goods, market produce and fruit.

Where does food and drink wall art work best?

Kitchens and dining rooms first, then anywhere food is served. A breakfast nook, a home bar corner, the wall above a coffee station or a sideboard all suit it.

Can I mix prints from different parts of the food and drink wall art collection?

Yes, and it is the point of the shared house style. A coffee print, a lemon print and a pasta print sit together because the palette and paper match.

How many pieces of food and drink wall art make a good group?

Two or three make an easy set above a sideboard. Six make a feature wall in a larger dining room.

What size food and drink wall art should I buy for a kitchen?

Smaller sizes suit the gaps between cabinets and shelves; larger ones suit an empty wall or the space above a dining table. The wall art size guide shows each size against real furniture.

Is food and drink wall art available on canvas?

Yes. Every design comes on archival matte paper and on matte canvas, stretched or in a solid wood floating frame.

Will food and drink wall art fade in a bright kitchen?

The pigment-based archival inks are rated to resist fading for decades indoors. Keep any print out of direct sunlight and away from steam for the longest life.

Does food and drink wall art make a good housewarming gift?

It travels well as a gift because the subject is universal and the style is not tied to one room scheme. A coffee or wine print suits almost any new kitchen.
