A Redwood National Park illustrated print in flat vector shapes: a trail running between towering redwood trunks, with backlit honey haze deep in the forest and a single small figure on the path.
About the artwork
The trunks run off the top and bottom of the frame, and the light from deep in the forest pulls the eye straight down the trail. The trunks carry fine grain lines, the canopy is reduced to clustered dots, and the haze grows warmer toward the center. Coast redwoods are the tallest trees on Earth. The header sets REDWOOD in heavy capitals above NATIONAL PARK · CALIFORNIA · EST 1968.
Why you'll love it
- Find the hiker. One small figure gives the trees their height.
- One grid, sixty-three parks. Every illustrated park print shares the same layout and header style, so any mix hangs as a matched set.
- Thirteen sizes. Start small at 8" x 12" or go up to 30" x 40"; A4 to A1 sizes are there too.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, color-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Good for a tall wall or a stairwell, and restful in a bedroom. Choose 18" x 24" or larger so the figure reads. Red-brown, olive and honey pair with dark wood; a black frame makes the haze glow.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the color, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What size should I choose? 12" x 18" works in a gallery wall of several parks; 18" x 24" and up stands on its own, and 30" x 40" fills a large wall.
Does it come framed? Paper prints ship unframed and fit standard frames. Choose a framed canvas if you would rather skip the framing shop.
How is this different from your other Redwood prints? This is the illustrated version, in flat vector shapes with the shared series header: a trail between towering redwood trunks. The vintage travel poster, WPA, screen print, retro, mid-century, panoramic, classical oil, impasto oil, watercolor and landmark Redwood prints are separate designs.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
