This Quebec flower market wall art print turns the city into a fairytale garden in rose, violet and blue. It is a stylized, imaginative take on Quebec — an artistic interpretation inspired by the city, not a literal view of its streets or skyline.
About the artwork
A digital watercolor-style illustration with soft washes and opaque, gouache-like dots. A white castle with steep, pointed blue roofs rises at the top center, framed by blue-green pines. Dense rounded blooms and feathery stylized plants fill the lower three quarters, set against a peach-pink sky that drips in long watercolor streaks. "FLOWER MARKET" sits on top in pink serif capitals, with "Quebec" handwritten in blue below.
Why you'll love it
- Fairytale mood. The castle-and-pines scene feels like a storybook page, not a postcard.
- Rich pink-and-violet palette. Rose, raspberry and lavender tones glow against deep blue pines.
- Dripping watercolor sky. Long peach streaks add movement and a soft, painterly texture.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Hang it in a bedroom or reading nook where the pink and lavender tones can soften the room. It pairs well with blush linens, navy accents and pale wood. A sweet gift for anyone who has visited Quebec or loves storybook travel scenes.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Quebec? No. It is a stylized, dreamlike interpretation of Quebec. You see a white castle with pointed roofs, blue pines and a dense, fantasy-like garden, not a true-to-life view of the city.
What text is printed on it? It reads "FLOWER MARKET" at the top, then "CITIES & FLOWERS COLLECTION" and "NO. 019" beneath the artwork, with "Quebec" handwritten in script at the bottom.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.
Paper weight, inks, frame details and care are all in our Material Guide.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
