This Parliament House Canberra poster looks straight up the ceremonial axis on a cloudless day: a broad green lawn running between two burnt-orange roadways and rows of eucalypts, rising to the low white building with its grass-covered roof. About the artwork
A flat vector travel-poster illustration built on strict symmetry — the composition mirrors almost perfectly down the middle, which is exactly how the site is laid out. The palette is bold and simple: deep cobalt sky, two or three greens through the lawn and tree canopies, terracotta orange for the paved roadways, crisp white and pale grey for the building, and a wide band of lake blue below blue-green hills. Questions people ask
What size should I get? The symmetry looks best given room, so 24" x 36" or 30" x 40" above a desk or sofa is ideal. For a smaller wall, 16" x 24" and 18" x 24" still hold the axis clearly.
Does it come framed? Paper prints arrive rolled and unframed. Canvas can be ordered stretched, or as framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural.

Paper prints ship rolled in a rigid tube. Canvas and framed canvas are boxed with corner guards.
Damage, defects & care
Every piece is printed for you after you order, so we cannot take a print back for a change of mind — please check the size and material first. Our Size Guide shows every size drawn to scale.
If it arrives damaged, misprinted or simply wrong, email us within 14 days with photos of the piece and the packaging. We reprint and reship it free, and there is nothing to send back.
Keep artwork out of direct sunlight. Dust paper prints with a clean, dry cloth; wipe canvas and framed canvas gently with a clean, damp cloth. Handle paper prints by the edges until they are framed. More care tips are in our Material Guide.
