A playroom wall art print with "LONG LIVE BOYHOOD" in bold burgundy capitals on a large blue-grey and cream checkerboard. Available in portrait or landscape.
About the artwork
The words "LONG LIVE BOYHOOD" are stacked on three lines across the middle of the frame, in even, hand-lettered burgundy capitals. Behind them is a large checkerboard of blue-grey and cream squares. The look is bold and retro, with flat graphic colour and nothing else to distract from the words.
Portrait or landscape
Choose the orientation that fits your wall. The landscape version sets "LONG LIVE" together on one smaller line, with "BOYHOOD" large underneath.
Why you'll love it
- A cheerful motto. Three bold words that celebrate the fun of being a kid.
- Big, bold type. Burgundy on checks reads clearly from across a bedroom.
- Two orientations. One design in portrait or landscape, so it works above a crib or a wide dresser.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Portrait: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1. Landscape: 12" x 8" through 54" x 36", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. Portrait 12" x 16" to 30" x 40"; landscape 18" x 12" to 48" x 32".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. Portrait 12" x 16" to 30" x 40"; landscape 18" x 12" to 48" x 32".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Hang it above a bed or a desk in a boy's room or a shared playroom. A black or walnut frame suits the strong burgundy lettering. Blue-grey bedding or a checked rug carries the pattern into the room.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is the landscape version just the portrait turned sideways? No. It is the same artwork laid out again for a wide frame, so nothing is cut off.
Is it only for a nursery? No. The bold retro lettering suits a toddler, big-kid or teen room as well.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
