This Long Beach watercolor print shows the Queen Mary moored across the harbor, with a white lighthouse, port cranes and a palm-lined marina around it. It is an artistic, watercolor-style interpretation of Long Beach, not an exact view of the city.
About the artwork
Fine ink lines pick out the ship's rails, masts and rigging along with the cranes, while the harbor water is built from horizontal blue strokes and white sail reflections. Harbor blue leads the palette, set against the ship's black hull, red waterline and three red funnels, with palm green and orange-red roofs as accents. The Queen Mary lies across the left middle, a white lighthouse with a red cap stands on a point to the right, and blue cranes and violet hills fill the background. Shoreline Village's pointed roofs and wooden boardwalk anchor the lower left, the marina sits on the right, and everything glows in warm summer light. "LONG BEACH" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it
- Ocean liner focal point. Three red funnels, a black hull and fine ink rigging make the Queen Mary the center of attention.
- Busy harbor water. A white-and-yellow water taxi crosses the bay while sailboats and yachts rest at the marina.
- Boardwalk café scene. Blue-violet café umbrellas, strolling visitors and tall palms line the walkway at Shoreline Village.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
The harbor blues and crisp reds suit a coastal living room, a navy-accented office or a bright entryway. It makes a thoughtful gift for someone who grew up in Long Beach or spent a summer along its waterfront.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Long Beach? No. It is an artistic interpretation that gathers the Queen Mary, the lighthouse, Shoreline Village and the port cranes into one watercolor composition.
What text is printed on it? Only the city name, "LONG BEACH," set in spaced navy capitals across the top. There is no other lettering on the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.

- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.

- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
