This Jekyll Island watercolor print shows a huge bleached driftwood tree with sprawling roots on Driftwood Beach, with more silver trunks standing in the shallows. It is an artistic, watercolor-style interpretation of this Georgia shoreline, not an exact view.
About the artwork
The driftwood is rendered in silver gray with dense, fine ink lines following the grain and twisted roots. Wet sand reflects the sky in horizontal blue-violet washes, and the left edge and bottom fade into blue and gold with a long drip in the lower left. The palette is driftwood silver, pale sea blue and sand beige, with olive green from the maritime forest. A giant dead tree with spreading roots fills the center, more trunks stand in the water on the right, low pine and oak forest runs along the left shore, a wooded shore across the sound sits in the background, and reflective wet sand fills the foreground. Low, clear light suggests a mild winter day. "JEKYLL ISLAND" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it
- Sculptural driftwood. The central tree and its roots read almost like a sculpture on the sand.
- Photographer and dog. A photographer sets up a tripod while a dog chases sandpipers.
- Quiet neutral palette. Silver, sand and pale blue keep the mood calm and easy to decorate around.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Its neutral silver and sand tones suit a minimalist living room, a bedroom with linen bedding or a hallway in gray or white. A meaningful gift for someone who took photos on Driftwood Beach or loves the Georgia coast.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Jekyll Island? No. It is an artistic interpretation of Driftwood Beach rather than a portrait of specific trees.
What text is printed on it? Only the name "JEKYLL ISLAND," set in spaced navy capitals across the top. There is no other lettering on the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
