This Hoi An travel wall art looks straight down the riverside promenade of Vietnam's old trading town, where hundreds of red, orange and blue silk lanterns hang from wires strung above the walkway. Ochre shophouses line one side, bougainvillea spills in from the other, and the river runs bright and calm beside the stone kerb.
About the artwork
Flat vector shapes with clean edges carry the whole scene, layered so the lanterns read as three receding rows against an open sky. Vermilion and burnt orange play against turquoise and mid blue, warmed by an ochre-yellow terrace of shophouses, deep pink bougainvillea and a pale sand walkway freckled with round lantern shadows. The poster is printed with HOI AN in large white capitals and VIETNAM beneath.
Why you'll love it
- A warm red-and-turquoise palette that lifts a neutral room without taking it over.
- Strong perspective down the walkway, so the print still reads from across a room.
- Archival paper or gallery-wrapped canvas, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- Part of a wider Asia travel series, so it hangs happily beside other city prints.
Where it works at home
The tall format suits a narrow wall between a doorway and a window, or the stretch above a hallway sideboard. Terracotta, cane and rattan pick up the ochre shophouses, while a black frame sharpens the lantern reds. In a bedroom the calm blue upper half sits well above a low headboard.
Sizes and materials
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Thirteen sizes are available, from 8 x 12 inches up to a 30 x 40 inch statement piece, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. Every piece is made to order.
Shipping and care
Each piece is printed and finished after the order is placed, then shipped in protective packaging — paper prints rolled in a rigid tube, canvas and framed canvas boxed with corner guards. Keep the artwork out of direct sunlight and wipe framed canvas with a dry, soft cloth. Paper prints are best handled by the edges until they are framed.
Questions
Which material should I choose? Paper is the most affordable option and lets you pick your own frame. Matte canvas adds depth and needs no glass. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang and is the usual choice for a feature wall.
Will the colours match what I see on screen? Printing is colour-managed, so the artwork stays very close to the preview. Paper reads slightly softer than canvas, which holds a touch more contrast.
Which frame colour suits this print best? Black or walnut holds the vermilion lanterns tightly and keeps the composition crisp. Natural oak leans into the ochre shophouses and pale walkway for a softer look, and white keeps the focus on the sky.
