This Daintree Rainforest poster stands at the point where the jungle runs straight into the sea. Coconut palms lean out over a pale sand beach, a dense wall of broadleaf canopy and hanging vines fills the middle of the frame, and a steep forested ridge climbs away behind it into soft blue haze. Clear turquoise water laps the shore in the foreground.
About the artwork
A flat vector travel-poster illustration that stacks the scene into distinct layers of foliage, each one drawn in its own tone so the depth reads clearly without any photographic blur. The greens do most of the work here: bright chartreuse and lime in the sunlit palm fronds, mid-emerald in the shore trees, and a deep blue-green on the shaded ridge behind. Against that sit warm cream sand, grey-brown granite boulders and a band of aqua shallows. Across the top the poster prints DAINTREE RAINFOREST in wide white capitals with AUSTRALIA spaced smaller beneath. A thin white margin surrounds the image. Portrait, 2:3.
Why you'll love it
- Rainforest and reef in one frame. Very few prints show tropical jungle and clear shallow water meeting on the same shoreline.
- Layered greens with real depth. Four or five distinct green tones separate the palms, canopy and back ridge.
- Textured canopy detail. Individual fronds, vines and pandanus spikes are drawn out, so it holds up at large sizes.
- Calm without being empty. The scene is busy with foliage yet the colour range stays quiet and restful.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Nine sizes from 8" x 12" to 30" x 40", plus A4–A1 for European frames.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang.
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural.
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Because the print is so green, give it a quiet wall: warm white, bone or a pale mushroom grey all let the canopy breathe. Espresso and walnut frames pick up the dark ridge and suit a room with mid-century timber; a natural oak frame keeps it lighter and more tropical. It belongs in a plant-filled living room, a garden room or a bathroom with good light, and it pairs with cane, seagrass baskets and terracotta pots. Skip a green wall, which competes with the foliage.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What size should I get? The canopy detail rewards scale, so 20" x 30" and above is ideal. For a smaller wall or a pair, 12" x 18" and 16" x 24" still read clearly.
Does it come framed? Paper prints arrive rolled and unframed. Canvas can be ordered stretched, or as a framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
Does this work as part of a tropical gallery wall? Yes. Its greens are cooler and deeper than most palm prints, so it anchors a group well when paired with lighter beach or botanical pieces.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.

Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
