A breakfast print drawn as a table seen from the side of a chair. A croissant on a plate, a cup and saucer, a small milk jug, a tumbler, a bud vase with two flowers and a folded magazine, all in dark green line, with bon jour! written by hand above.
About the artwork
One colour, one weight of line, one curved table edge that cuts across the sheet and holds everything on it. The objects are drawn quickly, with gaps where the pen lifted, and nothing is filled in. Because the table line runs off both edges the scene feels like a crop of a longer table rather than a still life arranged for the page. Portrait.
Why you'll love it
- A morning, not an object. The magazine and the second flower make it a scene someone is sitting at, which is rarer than a cup on its own.
- Green line is quiet. It adds a subject to a wall without adding a block of colour, so it suits a kitchen that is already busy.
- Built as a set. Every design in the food and drink series shares the same cream ground and paper, so any combination lines up.
- A gift for someone who takes breakfast seriously. The detail is in the small things on the table.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
This one belongs in a breakfast nook or beside a window where someone actually sits in the morning. Because the line is thin, hang it at seated eye level rather than high on a wall — too far away and the small objects disappear. The green suits pale wood, cream walls and any room with plants. It pairs naturally with the other green line drawings in the series, and two side by side at 12" x 18" read as one continuous table.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What size should I get? Between cabinets or above a counter, 12" x 18" or 16" x 24". Above a dining table or sideboard, go 24" x 36" or larger so the print holds the wall.
Does it come framed? Paper prints ship unframed and fit standard frames. Choose a framed canvas if you would rather skip the framing shop.
Can I hang more than one together? Yes. The food and drink prints share one palette and one paper, so two or three hang as a matched set.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.
Paper weight, inks, frame details and care are all in our Material Guide.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
