Work in the Works Progress Administration poster tradition: flat blocks of color laid down like screen print, heavy outlines holding each shape, and type set by hand across the bottom. Depth comes from stacked silhouettes rather than shading. Whatever the subject, the drawing is reduced until only the strongest shapes survive.

One house style

Because the palette is limited and the construction is consistent, several of these hang together as a set without competing. Two side by side read as a pair, and a row of four reads as a series. The flat color sits well against white walls, and the heavy outlines hold up at small sizes where softer work goes muddy.

Sizes, paper and framing

Every design is offered on archival matte paper in nine sizes from 8" x 12" to 30" x 40", plus A4-A1 for European frames, and on matte canvas either stretched on a wooden bar or set in a solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. Printed with pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
