Oil Painting Wall Art

What's in the collection

Painted work that keeps the mark of the brush. Some prints carry visible palette-knife texture, thick ridges of pigment that catch light across the surface. Others work in the older manner, smooth and evenly lit, closer to something hung in a museum. Both build form through light rather than outline, and both are made wide. Thinner, wetter handling of the same subjects sits in the watercolor wall art, and the aged printed version in the vintage wall art. Reproductions of paintings by Van Gogh, Monet and Vermeer are gathered separately in our fine art prints.

One house style

Painted surfaces reward a little distance, so give these room rather than tucking them into a corner. Hang two side by side above a sofa, or let a large size run the length of a wall on its own. The deep color sits well against warm wood, cream walls and brass. The subjects come from across the travel wall art range, the US national parks wall art most of all, and the wall art size guide lists what each format measures.

Sizes, paper and framing

Every design is offered on archival matte paper in seven landscape sizes from 12\" x 8\" to 54\" x 36\", plus A4-A1 for European frames, and on matte canvas either stretched on a wooden bar or set in a solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. Printed with pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
