Parc national de Kobuk Valley

What's in the collection

Kobuk Valley National Park sits in arctic Alaska, and the scenes here follow the park's odd pairing of desert and boreal forest: gold sand dunes meeting tundra, dark spruce crowding the dune edge, fireweed along the water, and caribou crossing the open sand. The Kobuk River braids below the Baird Mountains, and one print is named for the landmark itself, Great Kobuk Sand Dunes. It sits in our wider US national parks wall art range, alongside the rest of our Alaska wall art.

Ways to hang one park

Several treatments carry the same arctic valley: vintage WPA wall art, a flat-colour WPA art panel, a retro travel print, a mid-century vector, a retro poster, a horizontal panorama, a classical oil painting, an impasto oil, and a watercolour. Gold dune, teal spruce and fireweed magenta hold steady across the set, so two styles can sit side by side without clashing. Pick by wall, or hang a pair. The graphic cuts belong with our mid century modern wall art, and the wall art size guide sets out the sizes.
