Parc national de Glacier Bay

What's in the collection

Glacier Bay is a marine park on the Alaska coast, and the prints are built around water and ice: blue glacier faces calving into teal tidewater, icebergs on a calm bay, snow-covered peaks behind, and humpback whales surfacing in the foreground. A Margerie Glacier print brings that ice wall down below the Fairweather Range, while a whale fluke fills another design in front of the glacier. These prints sit inside our wider US national parks wall art, next to the rest of our Alaska wall art.

Ways to hang one park

The same bay is worked in every style in the series. The vintage WPA travel poster, WPA art and retro travel print flatten ice and whale into bold poster colour; the mid century modern wall art and retro poster hold Margerie Glacier in saturated blocks. The horizontal panorama opens the water across a sofa, the oil painting wall art loads impasto onto icebergs and calving ice, and the watercolour runs almost monochrome blue. Our wall art size guide covers how each of these reads at different sizes.

Sizes, paper and framing

Every design is offered on archival matte paper in nine sizes from 8" x 12" to 30" x 40", plus A4-A1 for European frames, and on matte canvas either stretched on a wooden bar or set in a solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. Printed with pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
