This Yellowstone National Park watercolor print shows the Lower Falls of the Yellowstone plunging through the golden Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, seen from Artist Point. It is an artistic, watercolor-style interpretation of the Wyoming park, not an exact view.
About the artwork
Cream, yellow and orange-pink washes layer the canyon walls, and fine ink lines trace their eroded gullies. The falls and rising spray are bare white paper with pale blue shading, dropping through a narrow notch at the center of the print. The V-shaped canyon closes in from both sides, and the jade-green Yellowstone River runs toward the lower right. A stone railing at Artist Point sits at middle left, with a forested plateau beyond. Lodgepole pines line the rim, the falls run full in early summer, and the left edge melts into long yellow drips with blue and orange splatter. "YELLOWSTONE" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it
- Golden canyon walls. Yellow, cream and coral rock give this print its warm, glowing color.
- Osprey over the gorge. An osprey glides above the canyon while visitors take photos at the railing.
- Steam on the slopes. Small plumes of steam rise from vents in the canyon walls.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
The yellow, jade and pine green tones liven up a living room, a kitchen or an office with warm wood and cream walls. It is a great gift for a Yellowstone first-timer, a family that road-tripped through Wyoming, or a waterfall lover.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Yellowstone National Park? No. It is an artistic interpretation of the Artist Point view, with the canyon, falls and river drawn freely in watercolor and ink.
What text is printed on it? Only the name "YELLOWSTONE," set in spaced navy capitals across the top. There is no other lettering on the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
