This Trinidad Cuba travel poster looks straight down a pale cobbled lane. Orange hibiscus, canna lilies and bougainvillea crowd the right foreground, a low teal house with barred windows and a green door sits on the left under a wide terracotta roof, and rows of red-tiled roofs step away toward a yellow bell tower with a red-domed cupola. Blue-green mountains close the view.
About the artwork
Flat vector shapes with fine linework and stippled texture in the cobbles and roof tiles, so the surfaces read as rough stone and baked clay without any outline. The palette is terracotta and burnt orange against teal, sage and butter yellow, with pink and coral blossom for accent and layered blue-grey ridges behind. The composition funnels along the lane to the tower, with palm fronds and an ochre shuttered facade framing the right edge. The lettering reads TRINIDAD above CUBA in white capitals. Portrait, 2:3.
Why you'll love it
- Depth you can walk into — the cobbled lane pulls the eye from the flowers in front to the tower and the ridges behind.
- Roof-tile texture — dozens of terracotta roofs drawn tile by tile, warm orange against cool green hills.
- Tropical planting — hibiscus, canna lilies, bougainvillea and palm fronds fill the foreground corners.
- Mountains and town together — a colonial hill town with real landscape behind it, not a flat street view.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Nine sizes from 8" x 12" to 30" x 40", plus A4–A1 for European frames.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang.
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural.
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Terracotta, teal and sage make this a natural partner for earthy rooms, so a clay, warm beige or muted olive wall keeps the orange roofs glowing rather than shouting. Walnut or espresso frames follow the burnt-orange tiles, while a white frame lifts the teal house and the green hills. It suits a living room with rattan, jute and dried grasses, or a bedroom above a wooden bedside table where the soft blues in the mountains calm the palette. Terracotta pots and a trailing plant nearby pick up the foreground blossom.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What is the tower in the middle? It is a colonial church bell tower in Trinidad, pale yellow with arched openings, visible bells and a small red-domed cupola on top. If you are comparing this with our Havana print, that one is a flat city street with the Capitolio dome and parked classic cars, while this one is a hillside lane of cobbles, tiled roofs, tropical flowers and mountains.
What size should I get? Above a sofa or bed, 24" x 36" or 30" x 40" holds the wall. For a desk, shelf or gallery grouping, 12" x 18" and 16" x 24" are the easiest to place.
Does it come framed? Paper and matte canvas arrive unframed. The framed canvas option adds a solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.

Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
