This Santiago Chile travel poster looks over the Chilean capital from a wooded hillside, where scattered trees stripe an olive-green slope. Below, teal and glass high-rises fill the valley floor, broken by terracotta rooftops and one tapered tower rising far above the rest. A long wall of snowcapped Andes peaks closes the horizon under a pale turquoise sky.
About the artwork
Flat vector layers, clean edges, no visible brush texture. Colour stays tight: teal and petrol blue across the towers, cream and pale grey on the snowfields, olive and emerald on the hillside, with red and terracotta accents in the low roofs. Four stacked bands build the depth, trees to city to mountains to sky. SANTIAGO runs across the top in a wide-spaced cream sans serif, CHILE below it. Portrait, 2:3.
Why you'll love it
- Mountains and city at once — snowline and glass towers stay equally readable.
- A calm teal palette — blue-green glass and turquoise sky cool a room down.
- Named on the artwork — wide cream lettering reads from across the room.
- A gift with a story — easy for anyone who has lived or hiked in Chile.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Nine sizes from 8" x 12" to 30" x 40", plus A4–A1 for European frames.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang.
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural.
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
The teal and olive here settle against warm neutrals, so an oatmeal, soft clay or pale greige wall suits it better than stark white. Light oak or walnut furniture picks up the tree line, and a rust or mustard cushion answers the terracotta rooftops. Hang it above a low sideboard, or over a desk where the snowline gives the eye somewhere to rest.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this Santiago in Chile or Santiago de Compostela in Spain? This is Santiago de Chile, the capital under the Andes. Our separate Santiago de Compostela print covers the Spanish pilgrimage city and shows a cathedral facade instead.
What size should I get? Above a sofa or bed, 24" x 36" or 30" x 40" holds the wall. For a desk, shelf or gallery grouping, 12" x 18" and 16" x 24" are the easiest to place.
Does it come framed? Paper and matte canvas arrive unframed. The framed canvas option adds a solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.
Paper weight, inks, frame details and care are all in our Material Guide.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
