A ramen print for the kitchen, where the idea of a hot bowl is never far away. A turquoise bowl holds pink noodles, two egg yolks and green onion, with brown chopsticks and white cherry blossoms scattered across a pink background. RAMEN is lettered on the sheet with a short passage about the dish. It is comfort food in candy colors.
About the artwork
Pink carries the sheet, from the background to the noodles, with the turquoise bowl as the main contrast. Two egg yolks, green onion and brown chopsticks add small points of color, and white cherry blossoms are scattered across the pink ground. The drawing is flat and retro, with clear shapes. RAMEN is lettered on the art, alongside a small pair of Japanese characters and a block of text about the origins of ramen. Portrait.
Why you'll love it
- Pink noodles, not beige. The playful color choice makes a familiar dish look new and keeps the print light-hearted.
- Turquoise against pink. The cool bowl stands out cleanly from the warm background and suits white or mint kitchens.
- Something to read. A short passage about the origins of ramen gives guests a reason to step closer.
- Cherry blossoms as garnish. White blossoms scattered on the pink add a Japanese seasonal touch around the bowl.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Hang it in a kitchen with white, mint or pale pink walls, beside the range rather than directly above it, or over a small breakfast table. 16" x 24" suits a gap between cabinets; 18" x 24" fits above a bench or open shelf. Light wood stools and turquoise or white ceramics pick up the bowl, and a white floating frame keeps it bright. Pair it with a simple tea or sushi print in similar pinks for a playful food wall.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What does the text on the print say? RAMEN is the main lettering, and a short block of text describes where ramen comes from. There is also a small pair of Japanese characters.
What size works in a kitchen? Kitchens usually have smaller open walls, so 12" x 18" or 16" x 24" fits between cabinets or above a counter. Use 18" x 24" for an open wall by a table.
What wall colors suit the ramen print? White, mint or pale pink walls let the turquoise bowl and pink background work together. Wood open shelving adds warmth.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.
