This Plaza de Armas Cusco poster looks across the square from a bank of coral blossom. Two tiered stone fountains catch the light, flowerbeds and black iron lampposts line the cobbled paths, and people cross the plaza toward the coral-pink church with its twin domed bell towers. Behind it, red-tiled houses climb the hillside to golden ridges.
About the artwork
Drawn as a detailed flat vector illustration with soft gradient shading, in the manner of a mid-century travel poster. The palette leans on coral and terracotta in the church and rooftops, cool blue-grey in the cathedral stone and fountain basins, with green lawns, magenta and yellow flowerbeds and a clear blue sky. CUSCO is set in tall white capitals at the top, with PERU centred below. Portrait format, 2:3 ratio.
Why you'll love it
- The whole square — fountains, arcades, church and hillside houses in one elevated view.
- Warm coral palette — terracotta rooftops give it a glow few city prints have.
- Rewards a close look — carved facade, balconies, lampposts and small figures crossing the plaza.
- For Peru travellers — the square everyone gathers in before the Sacred Valley.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Nine sizes from 8" x 12" to 30" x 40", plus A4–A1 for European frames.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang.
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural.
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
All that coral and terracotta sits happily on a warm white, cream or soft putty wall, and turns rich against a deep clay wall. Pair it with walnut or cherry wood, a woven wool runner and unglazed pottery in the same earthenware tones. It suits a dining room above a sideboard, or an entryway where the blue sky keeps the warm reds from feeling heavy.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Which buildings are in this print? The Plaza de Armas of Cusco, with its coral-pink church facade and twin bell towers, the grey stone cathedral to the left, arcaded colonial balconies and two tiered fountains. The store also carries a Machu Picchu print from the same region, showing the Inca citadel and mountain terraces rather than this colonial city square.
What size should I get? Above a sofa or bed, 24" x 36" or 30" x 40" holds the wall. For a desk, shelf or gallery grouping, 12" x 18" and 16" x 24" are the easiest to place.
Does it come framed? Paper and matte canvas arrive unframed. The framed canvas option adds a solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.

Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
