A lotus flower print on deep teal for a bedroom with a bit of color. One large pink lotus with striped petals and a yellow center fills the sheet. "LOTUS FLOWER" is lettered on it, with a short English paragraph about what the flower stands for: purity and enlightenment.
About the artwork
Deep teal fills the ground, the petals are pink with fine stripes, and the seed pod at the center is yellow. The single bloom is drawn large, so it reads clearly across a room, and the minimalist layout leaves nothing else to compete with it. The title "LOTUS FLOWER" comes with a short English text describing the lotus as a symbol of purity and enlightenment, in keeping with its place in Buddhism. Portrait.
Why you'll love it
- One flower, drawn large. A single big bloom keeps the design simple and easy to read from the bed or the doorway.
- Teal and pink contrast. Pink petals and a yellow center glow against deep teal, a stronger pairing than pink on white.
- The meaning is printed on it. The English text explains the lotus as a symbol of purity and enlightenment, so the meaning stays with the print.
- Striped petals. Fine stripes on each petal add detail up close without breaking the simple shape.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
For a bedroom, hang it on a white, soft pink or pale gray wall above a nightstand or a light wood dresser. Teal velvet cushions or a blush throw repeat its colors. 16" x 24" suits the wall beside a bed; 24" x 36" works centered above it. Pair it with a small brass bowl or a cream ceramic vase on the dresser.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What does the text on the print say about the lotus? It is a short English paragraph describing the lotus as a symbol of purity and enlightenment, alongside the title "LOTUS FLOWER".
Will deep teal work in a pink bedroom? Yes. The print already pairs teal with pink, so it links a pink wall or bedding to the darker color.
Which frame finish goes with teal? White or natural solid wood floating frames keep it fresh; black or espresso deepens the teal.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.
