This New Orleans flower market wall art print pairs a row of iron-balcony houses with palms and oversized white blooms. It is a stylized artistic interpretation inspired by New Orleans, not a literal view of its streets.
About the artwork
It is a digital watercolor-style illustration with opaque gouache-like shapes and a cloudy watercolor sky. Creamy white, teal and cobalt lead the palette, with pink, earthy orange and palm green. Houses with ironwork balconies, a building with twin domes and a blue house sit in the top third, palms stand at both sides, and large white five-petal blooms with blue spiky flowers fill the foreground. "FLOWER MARKET" is printed at the top in turquoise, and "New Orleans" is handwritten below in pink.
Why you'll love it
- Classic Southern charm. Lacy iron balconies and pastel facades give it a graceful look.
- Cool and elegant. Teal, cobalt and cream feel calm and refined.
- Statement blooms. Large white petals up front add freshness and scale.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
It suits a dining room, entryway or bedroom with white trim, teal or soft pink accents. A lovely gift for someone who has lived in or visited New Orleans, or a graceful housewarming present.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of New Orleans? No. It is a stylized artistic interpretation inspired by New Orleans, so it will not match the real place exactly. You see houses with iron balconies, a twin-domed building and a blue house between palms, with large white flowers in front, composed as a dreamlike scene.
What text is printed on it? "FLOWER MARKET" across the top, "CITIES & FLOWERS COLLECTION" and "NO. 011" below the image, and "New Orleans" handwritten in script.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
