This Florence flower market wall art print gathers a blue dome, a bell tower and terracotta rooftops above a bed of sunflowers. It's a stylized, imaginative take on Florence, an artistic interpretation inspired by the city rather than a literal view.
About the artwork
A digital watercolor-style illustration with an opaque, gouache-like finish and a modern folk-art feel. Green hills, a large dome painted in blue and a bell tower crown the top, above a tight cluster of houses in tile red and burnt orange. Sunflowers, daisy-like gerberas and coral blooms fill the lower half under a flat cream sky. "FLOWER MARKET" is set in burnt orange, with "Florence" handwritten in turquoise.
Why you'll love it
- Warm Italian palette. Terracotta, sunflower yellow and coral feel like a summer afternoon.
- Folk-art charm. Simple, flat shapes give it a cheerful, naive style.
- Sunflower glow. Big golden blooms bring instant warmth to any wall.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
It's made for a kitchen, dining room or living room with terracotta, olive and warm wood. Gift it to someone who honeymooned in Tuscany or simply loves Italy.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Florence? No. It's an artistic interpretation: the dome is painted blue and the rooftops, hills and sunflowers are arranged into a dreamlike scene, not an exact view.
What text is printed on it? "FLOWER MARKET" across the top, "CITIES & FLOWERS COLLECTION", "NO.093" and "Florence" in handwritten script.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.
Paper weight, inks, frame details and care are all in our Material Guide.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
