This Bruges flower market wall art print shows a red-roofed town with a tall spire among green hills, with white lilies in front. It is a stylized, imaginative take on Bruges, an artistic interpretation inspired by the city, not a literal view of its streets.
About the artwork
It is a digital illustration in a watercolor style, with layered washes and slivers of white paper between them. Many shades of green carry the scene, with white, yellow, lavender and touches of terracotta. A small town of red roofs and a pointed bell tower sits at top center, rolling hills rise behind it, and tree canopies frame the view. In front, white lilies, yellow lily-like blooms and purple spiky flowers fill the lower half. "FLOWER MARKET" sits across the top in green, with "Bruges" handwritten below in golden orange.
Why you'll love it
- Storybook town. Red roofs and a slim spire give it an old-world charm.
- Lily foreground. White lilies bring an elegant, garden-fresh feel.
- Layered greens. Rich greens make it a natural fit for plant-filled rooms.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
It suits a bedroom, sunroom or reading corner with sage, cream and light wood. A gentle gift for someone who loved their visit to Belgium.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Bruges? No. It is a dreamlike artistic interpretation: an imagined red-roofed town among hills with lilies in front. The hills and buildings are part of the painting, not a depiction of real places in Bruges.
What text is printed on it? The top reads "FLOWER MARKET." Below the scene you'll see "CITIES & FLOWERS COLLECTION" and "NO.078," with "Bruges" written in handwritten script at the bottom.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.
Paper weight, inks, frame details and care are all in our Material Guide.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
