What's in the collection
A vintage postage stamp for every US state, each built around the flower that state calls its own. Texas carries the bluebonnet, Kansas the sunflower, California the poppy, Mississippi and Louisiana the magnolia, Minnesota the lady's slipper, and Arizona the saguaro in bloom. The state name is struck across the top in worn letterpress, the nickname runs along the foot, and a one-cent denomination sits in a circle at the corner. The dry country behind the saguaro is drawn straight in the desert wall art, and the same states appear as skylines in the city wall art.
One house style
Every stamp is drawn as line engraving and printed in a single ink on a tinted ground, so each state arrives in its own colour: navy on light blue, ochre on straw, aubergine on dusty mauve. The perforated edge is rendered as real die-cut scallops against a plain sheet. Because the frame and the typography repeat exactly, any combination lines up. Pair the state you grew up in with the one you live in now, or build a wall around a region. These stamps sit inside the wider botanical wall art range, and the wall art size guide lists what each format measures.
Sizes, paper and framing
Every design is offered on archival matte paper in nine sizes from 8" x 12" to 30" x 40", plus A4-A1 for European frames, and on matte canvas either stretched on a wooden bar or set in a solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. Printed with pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
