Mammoth-Cave-Nationalpark

What's in the collection

Mammoth Cave National Park is in Kentucky, and only some of these scenes are underground. Several stay above ground: the Historic Entrance opening into green woods, a fern-hung limestone sinkhole dropping into shadow, a dark cave mouth in deep forest above a pool. The rest go below, into lantern-lit passages, fluted columns and a vast warm-lit chamber. Named features appear too, the Historic Entrance and the Frozen Niagara. The park belongs to our US national parks wall art range, and hangs naturally with the rest of our Kentucky wall art.

Ways to hang one park

The same cave country gets a treatment in every style: vintage WPA wall art, a flat-colour WPA panel, a retro travel print, a mid-century vector, a retro poster, a horizontal panorama, a classical oil painting, an impasto oil, and a watercolour. Forest green, limestone cream and warm lantern amber against deep shadow tie the set together, which makes an underground print and a woodland one work as a pair. The painted versions sit with our oil painting wall art, and the wall art size guide covers the paper and canvas sizes.

Sizes, paper and framing

Every design is offered on archival matte paper in nine sizes from 8" x 12" to 30" x 40", plus A4-A1 for European frames, and on matte canvas either stretched on a wooden bar or set in a solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. Printed with pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
