What's in the collection
Water at rest is the whole idea here. Most of these prints split the frame roughly in half and let the lower half repeat the upper one, so the composition is symmetrical and unusually calm to look at. Alpine tarns sitting in rock bowls, broad valley lakes with a far shore reduced to a blue line, and small working waterfronts with a dock, a boat or a boathouse for scale. Early and late light dominate, when the surface is glassy enough to hold a reflection. The ridges held in those reflections appear in the mountain wall art, and working waterfronts on a larger scale in the coastal wall art.
One house style
Because the subject is so simple, the drawing style shows clearly, and this collection deliberately keeps more than one. Flat colour treatments make the reflection a clean geometric echo. Brushed treatments break the surface into strokes so the water reads as moving slightly. Washed treatments soften the far shore until it barely separates from the sky. All of them keep the horizon deliberate and the palette narrow, which is why a pair or a row of them settles a wall rather than busying it. These sit inside the wider travel wall art range, and the wall art size guide lists what each format measures.
Sizes, paper and framing
Every design is offered on archival matte paper and on matte canvas, either stretched on a wooden bar or set in a solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. Size options are listed on each product page, including A-series sizes for European frames where the format allows. Printed with pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
