Kids Room Wall Art

What's in the collection

A child's room has a shorter design life than any other room in the house. What works at four is embarrassing at nine. That shapes the selection here: pieces with enough character to feel personal, but not so tied to a single phase that they date within a year. Strong simple shapes read well from floor level, where children actually look at things. Saturated colour holds its own against bedding and toys that are rarely subtle. And a mid-size format keeps the cost of changing your mind low. Early learners can start with alphabet nursery wall art, and a play corner suits our playroom wall art.

One house style

Hang lower than you would anywhere else. Eye height for an adult sits well above a child's line of sight, and a piece hung at around forty inches suddenly belongs to the person using the room. A grid of small pieces works better than one large one, because it can be changed a piece at a time as interests move on. Keep one frame in the group easy to swap, and the wall keeps up with them instead of being replaced. For a younger sibling, the softer palette of our nursery wall art works alongside, and the wall art size guide helps size a grid.

Sizes, paper and framing

Every design is offered on archival matte paper and on matte canvas, either stretched on a wooden bar or set in a solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. Size options are listed on each product page, including A-series sizes for European frames where the format allows. Printed with pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
