Coffee Wall Art

What's in the collection

The moka pot is the recurring character, drawn in yellow ochre, pink, cobalt and plain black ink, sometimes with a bunch of wildflowers pushed into the top. Around it sit cappuccino cups with a heart in the foam, stacked striped espresso cups, breakfast tables laid with a croissant and a magazine, and lettering that orders in another language: un cafe s'il vous plait, un caffe per favore, un cafe con leche por favor. A run of five-star review jokes about the barista rounds it out. Pastries that appear alongside the cups have their own home in the bakery wall art prints.

One house style

Two treatments carry the group. The bold retro half sets one word across the sheet in saturated color and lets the cup sit inside the letters. The line-drawn half works in a single continuous stroke on cream, closer to a sketchbook page than a poster. Both use the same warm off-white ground, so a loud print and a quiet one hang side by side without argument. That makes the collection easy to build a coffee corner from, and it sits comfortably next to the rest of the food and drink wall art and the wider kitchen wall art range. For evenings, the same hand appears in cocktail wall art.

Sizes, paper and framing

Every design is offered on archival matte paper in nine sizes from 8" x 12" to 30" x 40", plus A4-A1 for European frames, and on matte canvas either stretched on a wooden bar or set in a solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. Printed with pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.

Questions about coffee wall art

Where should coffee wall art hang in a kitchen?

Directly above the coffee station is the obvious spot, and the reason most people buy it. A narrow gap between wall cabinets or the end of a run of counter also works.

What size coffee wall art suits a small kitchen?

The smaller portrait sizes fit the awkward gaps most kitchens have. The wall art size guide shows each size against real cabinets and counters.

Can coffee wall art hang in a cafe or shop?

Yes. The larger sizes on canvas hold up well in a commercial space, and the lettering pieces read from across a room.

How do I pair two pieces of coffee wall art?

Hang one bold lettering print beside one quiet line drawing. The contrast is the point, and the shared cream ground keeps them related.

Does coffee wall art work outside the kitchen?

It does. A home office wall or a breakfast nook takes it easily, and the line-drawn pieces are calm enough for a hallway.

Is coffee wall art printed on canvas as well as paper?

Both. Archival matte paper and matte canvas, the canvas either stretched or set in a solid wood floating frame.

Will steam from the kettle damage coffee wall art?

Frame it under glass if it hangs close to a kettle or hob, and leave a little clearance. Away from direct steam the archival inks last decades indoors.

Which coffee wall art print works as a gift?

The lettering prints travel best, since an order written in French or Italian reads the same in any kitchen.
