A black concentric circles print inspired by Yayoi Kusama: tightly packed, irregular coils fill a tall cream panel, with bold lettering above and red accents at the edges.
About the artwork
Each coil curls around its own small centre, meeting neighbouring shapes without settling into a rigid grid. The uneven spacing gives the pattern a hand-drawn character. Seen close up, the individual loops stand apart; from across the room, they merge into a dense, rippling field. A wide border gives the eye somewhere to rest, while the vertical lettering on the right overlaps the boundary between the title area and the artwork. The text printed on the art reads YAYOI KUSAMA, 草間彌生, INFINITY CIRCLES, YODO GALLERY and OSAKA 1992. These words and the date are decorative elements, not a statement of exhibition history or gallery affiliation. Any lettering is part of the printed design. This is an independent print inspired by the style of Yayoi Kusama. It is not an original artwork, reproduction, or licensed product, and it is not made by, sold by, or affiliated with the artist or their studio.
Why you'll love it
- A focal point for a compact wall. The upright layout works beside a reading chair or above a narrow console.
- Easy to build around. Pair it with a quiet photograph or a simple line drawing without matching a full colour palette.
- A thoughtful housewarming gift. A distinctive choice for someone who enjoys graphic interiors and abstract pattern.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Hang it above a walnut sideboard with a small lamp, or make it the main artwork in a reading corner with a cream armchair. Natural wood warms up the composition; a black floating frame makes the perimeter more pronounced. Leave some clear wall around it and keep nearby fabrics plain so the fine detail remains easy to enjoy.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is the frame shown in the room photos included? The room photos show styling examples. Paper prints arrive rolled and unframed; choose a framed canvas option for a solid wood floating frame.
Can I hang it with another patterned print? Yes. Give each piece its own space and choose a companion with a larger, simpler motif so the two patterns remain distinct.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
