About the artwork

Built on aerial haze. Everything is drawn in blue-teal, and depth is created purely by how much of that blue sits over each layer — the near rooftops are almost fully saturated, the middle terrace is veiled, the far bank fades to a pale wash. Terracotta roof tiles are the only warm colour and they are used sparingly, scattered like embers through a cool image. The bridge is drawn as open lattice ironwork with every strut visible, silhouetted rather than shaded. Flat vector illustration with an unusually restrained palette.
