About the artwork

Built on a symmetry that most travel prints cannot attempt — the lower half is a near-exact mirror of the upper, softened just enough that it reads as water rather than a folded image. The palette is cool: teal blue for lake and sky, grey-blue limestone on the peak behind, dark pine on the slopes, with rust-red roofs and cream render giving the village its only warmth. Every house is drawn separately, balconies and boathouses included, so the shoreline has real detail at close range. Flat vector illustration, hard-edged.
