Japan Wall Art

Quiet a room down with our Japan wall art. Featuring a pagoda with a snow-capped cone behind it, torii gates running in sequence up a hill, a shrine standing in tidal water and a bamboo path closing overhead, these illustrated wall art prints bring stillness to your home decor.

What's in the collection

Japan is drawn here between shrine and city. The Chureito Pagoda sits with Mount Fuji behind it, Fushimi Inari runs its torii up the hill in Kyoto, and Itsukushima stands in tidal water at Hiroshima. Kinkaku-ji holds the gold pavilion, Todai-ji the great hall at Nara, and the Arashiyama grove the bamboo. Tokyo brings Shibuya Crossing and the tower, with Osaka, Shirakawa-go and Hokkaido across the rest.

One house style

Two registers run through this set: the muted greens and vermilion of the shrines, and the hard neon of the cities. They do not mix easily, so pick one. A shrine print suits a bedroom or a hallway, and a city print does better in a room that already has movement in it.

Sizes, paper and framing

Every design is offered on archival matte paper and on matte canvas, either stretched on a wooden bar or set in a solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. Size options are listed on each product page, including A-series sizes for European frames where the format allows. Printed with pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
